Many of our Australian readers know the Greenwood Hotel had a change of ownership recently, and it’s heralding good things for lovers of house and techno in Sydney. After Hernan Cattaneo played a mind-shattering set last month, the anticipation is high for the next round of internationals on the horizon.
Up next we have the Lost Disco party on the 22nd of November with Seth Troxler. The universally adored DJ/Producer who has been ranked 3rd, then 2nd, then 1st in Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJ list from 2009-2012. Seth is in the midst of his busiest and most impressive international tour to date, as he’ll be hitting up shows in 9 countries across 4 continents during the month leading up to this show so his skills are guaranteed to be sharp and on point.
Along with the headliner are German duo Âme, who make Detroit-influenced house music, but when you count Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock amongst their primary influences, you know not to expect your every day dance music idols. Also from Germany are Pachanga Boys who are known for bringing some big tunes. Last in the international lineup is British duo Optimo, who will no doubt have some surprises planned for us as always.
With Burdekin Institution “La Famiglia” hosting local acts in the Chapel, and these 4 international powerhouses outside in the courtyard, you know this is not a gig to miss.

My obsession with electronic music knows no bounds! More enamored by the day I listen to as much as possible, go to as many shows and festivals as the budget and schedule will afford, and spend the remaining time DJing and producing house and techno. I’m passionate about directing much-deserved attention to the talented, undiscovered artists in my hometown, Sydney, Australia.
