Logam steps up for the 6th release on his own Santoku imprint with a couple of beats that truly showcase a versatility of production within the D&B sphere. Interface melds hypnotic, slightly trancey melodies with a solid, rolling break and warm sub stabs to create a nice middle-ground tune; perfect for building the energy in sets before dropping something bigger to tip the crowd over the edge.
Over on the flip Morphic Fields heads straight for deep space, with lush pads and echoing rim shots giving the intro an absolutely ethereal quality. Muted chord stabs lead up to a half-time drop characterised by brooding bass and peppered with reverbering percussive elements that combine to create a skittering, leftfield rhythm. One for the heads!

Fell in love with Drum & Bass a few years ago and never looked back! I’ve been DJing around Glasgow for a few years (mostly as a resident at the monthly Symbiosis night) and producing for around a year now. Watch out for plenty more from me over the coming year!
