At first listen this song might seem oddly familiar… and it should! Reload was originally released last year as an instrumental track, instantly skyrocketing to the number one spot on Beatport, and for good reason. The instrumental track was a masterful blend of both producer’s unique styles, featuring a pulsing drum line to keep you bouncing as the lead line crashes over you in a wave of driving synths.
Slatted for US release on May 14, Reload is the latest installment from Ingrosso’s: Refune Records- the label behind Calling (Lose My Mind), Alesso’s solo project- Years, and Deniz Koyu’s Bong. The newest edition of Reload takes this track to the next level by laying John Martin’s unmistakable lyrics on top of the already stacked masterpiece. John Martin is most well know for his vocals on Swedish House Mafia’s Save The World and Don’t You Worry Child, so rest assured that this new endeavor does not disappoint! Look out for this track come festival season!
-streeter
Currently kickin’ it in South Boston but originally hailing from New York, my parents call me Sam but since the sixth grade everyone else has called me Streeter. By day I’m a technology teacher and by night I bounce to the beat in this city of mine. Grew up playing various stringed instruments, but didn’t get involved in EDM till I ventured to Bentley University. Big fan of all things progressive and dutch, with a respect for anything unique and original.
