The problem with less known drugs like Kratom is that there has been done little to none research so far, so nobody can give satisfying information on health risks and long term impact.

Ha I'm drinking kratom right now. I like it, but a lot of my friends don't. Some say it makes them sick. I get a really nice, relaxed feeling from it. High doses are a more sedated feeling, but also seems to speed my thoughts up a little. For example, if I drink it before I go to bed it's hard to sleep sometimes.
It's not a ground breaking drug or anything. Just a nice/relaxed feeling. If you are an opiate user you probably would think it's weak...
And Electric Haze, I'm not sure about studies. But kratom has a long history of use in Asia. It has been used to cure opiate addiction...

I was aware of its traditional use and not thinking of some mind-blowing effects, I kinda imagined it the way you describe it! But being a traditionally used drug doesn't automatically make it harmless, just to mention, but afaik there are no major health risks known with this one, besides that it's said to be (mildly?) addictive; and in some reports I've also read that people are getting nausea after consumption.
Bodhi: Just check out the link in my starting post, it's a dutch site and they do actually sell and ship all the stuff that's listed there, I'm not sure about shipping conditions and restrictions to the US though.
