What is your favorite place to see a concert? and what is the best show you've seen there?

Mine is Red Rocks in Denver. STS9 packed the place and started some serious mayhem. Great scenery, great people, amazing music.
I've only been to a few shows but mine would have to be the Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY. I saw Lotus and STS9 there (not on the same night.)

I can't find any good shots of it online though. Sad
Festivals!!! Camp Bisco in Mariaville, NY is a truly exceptional fest. Lost my FACE seeing Shpongle, Bassnectar, STS9, and various other electronic artists. I highly recommend. ULTRA chillin people as well. Smile
The festivals are the best! My all time favorite place is this Shawnee Indian Reservation Site in Bellefontaine, Ohio. The Shawnee's love hosting the festivals, the land is beautiful, the people are chill, the music is kickass, the drugs are good, and the vibe is ultra great. I swear it truly is a blessed land and I plan on keep coming back. Everyone rages all night and then in the morning, everyone joins together to clean up and the place is just as nice as it was before the festival. I love it.

haha how can anyone not agree with you if they've seen a live show at red rocks. i know a lot of people have seen live shows on dvd and such from red rocks but believe me when i say this. once you are at this venue it automatically becomes the best venue you've ever been to. the walls look like they are gonna fall down on top of you.

oh and the best show ive been to there? definitely STS9 with Pretty Lights as the opening act. one of the best shows ever hands down.
Crazy huh? Even with all that rain, I would agree that it was way up there at the top of shows I've seen. (Did you forget about the rain...? hehe) Sigur Ros last Sept. was also pretty damn amazing. That's the great thing about RR, you think it won't get any better and then whoa it does. We are freakin blessed to live next door to it. I have seen mind-blowing shows all over the place in all kinds of venues, so I hate to choose...hahaha But when an act you are ecstatic about comes to RR, it's pretty penultimate. Perfect Circle, Tool, Moby all incredible at RR over the years.

Oh yeah, and how about the clubs all over the playa at burning man? dancing in the perfect desert night air on sand with a bunch of the coolest craziest people on earth who are basically all your friends. I couldn't pick the best bassnectar show this past year, but I got seriously lost in the night and the notes and the nectar. the do lab stands out, but that was the night of the burn, too. Nexus was also crazy
Yes, Red Rocks is amazing! Straight up Pride Rock from The Lion King! Truely an incredible and NATURAL venue!!! I would plan a trip around seeing a show there because Colorado is the fucking best. Be sure to go to Boulder and Aspen too!!

I think the best venue/show I've seen, though, would have to be Umphrey's McGee at The Filmore in San Francisco!! First of all, The Filmore is such a historic venue, having had frequent visits from all the greats like Zepplin, Hendrix, The Doors, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Miles Davis...the list goes on, so just being there is a great feeling and when you leave, a piece goes with you.
To me, a band has to earn the honor to play on that stage, and Umphrey's McGee could not have been a better show to see! They are the most musically talented band in technique I have ever seen. They have raised the bar on the classics. If you have ever seen them live, you know what I'm talking about!

Oh and The Do Lab is FUCKING FANTASTIC!!! If you are ever in Los Angeles that's where the party's at!! LUCENT L'AMOUR is their Valentine's Day party/show ~ FEB. 13, 2010 at The Shrine in Downtown Los Angeles. It's going to be ridiculously fun!!! Check out their website thedolab.com
Damn, I may have to make a trip out to Red Rocks sometime!!
yeah you definitely need to the next time a sick artist comes around. maybe deadmau5 again, that was a fun concert......
The Georgia Theatre, place was so hot it caught on fire haha.

Best show I saw there was prob Bassnectar, i swear the building was jumping
