Anyone been to Roskilde Festival in Denmark? Experiences?

I were there last year and saw Deadmau5, Major Lazer and 2manydjs.

Deadmau5 was a great experience, the lightshow was amazing, got some videoclips of that, that i might share. The music was great to dance to when you were both drunk and high, but i have a hard time listening to it now. Kinda to simple.

Major Lazer was awesome, i fucking love Diplo. When the second last song went on he told the audience to get up on stage and dance with his jamaican dancers (), i was the last guy who COULD NOT get up on stage, the staff grabbed me

I saw 2manydjs two times last year and they played the exact same show, so the second time wasn't that fun, but in Roskilde it was totally amazing, their live set is unbelievable.

Wow, looks like a GREAT festival. I doubt I'll ever make it out to Denmark... Why must everything great be overseas? lol

Yeah, it's nothern Europe's biggest festival with over 110 000 visitors.. Do you got any big festival overseas with big electroinfluences?

I know that festivals here are not the same as in US, half the festival is the camping and partying here.. haha

There is a very small festival here in Sweden just a couple o miles from where i live which have booked som huuuge electro this years.. Last year i saw (and met) the Bloody Beatroots, Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco and 2manydjs and some of swedens best DJs and electro, i think you'll heard about Adrian Lux?

This year they booked Crookers, Mustard Pimp, Rex The Dog and a 3-parted Ed Banger special with Breakbot, Uffie, Feadz and some more Ed bangers! And this festival has only like a couple o thusands visitors and is in the middle of nowhere.

Electro / techno / dance music / etc festivals are pretty new to the US I think. Coming up this year is the Ultra Music Festival which features
