In the festival world, the past couple weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster with the barrage of lineup announcements, and Lightning in a Bottle dropped theirs today to continue the ride.

It’s a beautiful thing, featuring new and old names alike. The Lightning Stage is looking particularly strong with Bonobo, Rufus du Sol, and Bob Moses. Also worthy of note, the more common appearance of Claude VonStroke’s alter-ego, himself, Barclay Crenshaw as well as the king of sublime, ethereal techno, Richie Hawtin are on the list as well. Scroll down for the full line-up.

You can tell a lot about a festival by the way people talk about it. Not necessarily just what they say, but how expressive they are with their hands and face, as well as in the tone of their voice. People who attended Lightning in a Bottlespeak through a wide smile and wistful eyes, with a lot of laughing. It’s the same way people talk about Electric Forest and Shambhala, and it can elicit a mixture of “happy for you” smiles and “God, I hate you” envy.

There’s a handy paged titled, “Every LiB Ticket, Explained” where you can find the dates and deadlines for each tier, as well as information on the Lightning Bus, Early Arrival, and Boutique Camping which can include A/C for the first time. Another change of note, the only option for tickets is a full four-day pass. You will no longer be able to buy single-day or weekend tickets.

Check out the official 2017 video below for a peek at what you’re in for this coming Memorial Day Weekend.
