Great food, great people, great scenery, and great music – that’s right, Outside Lands is back with another killer lineup. This year features another excellent mix of rock, indie, and electronic music, all fitting together perfectly. There are stars like Paul McCartney and….ok, there aren’t really any other artists that belong in that sentence. But there are bands like Nine Inch Nails and Vampire Weekend, electronic artists like Kaskade and Pretty Lights, upcoming acts like Rudimental and MSMR, and pretty much everything in between. As mentioned above, Outside Lands is known to have the best festival food that you can find, from lobster to shrimp to bacon burgers. Add the location, San Francisco’s beautiful Golden Gate Park, and you’ve got a recipe for one hell of a weekend. Many of the lower-tiered tickets have already sold out, but 3-day GA passes are still available for the very reasonable price of $250. If you’re in California this August 9-11, check it out.

Daft Punk’s Alive 2007 introduced me to the world of electronic music, and ever since, it’s been a huge part of my life. I’m currently a philosophy student at UCSB, but music and shows are my passion. Thanks to EJ, I hope to share the magic of music with anyone interested.
