After Ultra 2013, I lost all respect for Avicii (and his folk band)

I’ll admit that when I first started listening to EDM, I got caught up and somewhat “lost” in the limelight of everything Levels. I was a noob then and, well… I’m still a noob but I think I’m learning. Anyway, I’ve occasionally misued this platform as a medium for bashing artists (who deserve it, seriously) and Avicii has been one of my most favorite and frequent targets.

We had heard that Avicii was planning on dropping his new album at Ultra 2013 which immediately got tens of thousands of people stoked. They never knew that the Swedish producer might be trolling, though. What scares me more about this radical PR stunt is this tweet from Ultra’s official account, which leads me to believe they may have actually supported this idea:

The man has balls for bringing a fucking kazzoo on to stage, but I seriously wish I could know who the brainchild behind this disaster was. If it was Avicii’s idea, then I’d just laugh at him. If it’s his management, then I feel sorry for the dude….. (and still laugh at him)

Dude nobody cares what you think. That’s why you have no comments.
Avicii’s new album is sick and he makes millions doing what he loves. He’s breaking into different genres, which is actually creative. Are you one of those people who wants to hear an hour long loop of Levels? Go pop a molly, loser.
