[EDIT]
We have received contact from the media team at Counterpoint Festival, and they have confirmed that the festival will in fact not be moving to New York. It will remain in Atlanta.

Counterpoint Festival may be the new Woodstock. This past Wednesday, the town board of Saugerties, New York, approved the three day festival at Winston Farm, the site of the Woodstock ’94 festival for the dates July 11-13. Don’t worry though! Counterpoint will be held in Atlanta as well (like previous years).

The producers of this festival also produce Lollapollooza, Camp Bisco, and Lights All Night, so expect good things. According to Jonathan Fordin, MCP Presents CEO, the festival is to make an announcement including a lineup within the next 14 days. Can’t wait!

Hey there. I am originally from Los Angeles, studying journalism in Boston at Emerson College. I have always loved electronic music ever since I was a little girl and heard Daft Punk on the radio. I grew up engulfed in all different types of music, but electronic dance music really struck my heart. I also love photography and my favorite photos are candids of fans at events.
