Free n Losh – Soon One Morning

With the influx of interest in EDM, the number of producers have skyrocketed while the quality is often overlooked.   Today, Free n Losh stand out with their new take on glitch hop.  With Free n Losh’s new single, “Soon One Morning”, we get an amalgamation of early American blues, modern glitch hop and dubstep and the result is groovy as ever.  Funky, yet dirty. The track opens with a simple yet alluring guitar riff, before we’re hit with a  string of fat percussive beats complimenting that soulful riff.  Additionally the track uses the mumbling vocals to add more harmonies to this track, and while I wasn’t a big fan at first, I have grown to enjoy it.  The indistinguishable vocals are more of a hum and are to be thought of as an instrument rather and in this respect it definitely works.  If you’re a fan of Gramatik, Griz (Grizmatik for that matter!) or anyone similiar, you need to check this out.

The track is the first single off their upcoming Deadhead O.G. EP to be self-released this week, and you definitely will want to check that out.
