Krewella – Alive (Pegboard Nerds Remix)

If you pay attention to the EDM scene at all, you’ve probably noticed that the amount of remix attempts of Krewella‘s progressive track “Alive” has bordered on the insane. Every one and their grandmother is trying to get a piece of that pie, and sadly not many of them have produced a quality tune worthy of promotion. The amount of email’s and messages I’ve gotten from artists all over the interwebs about their remix and how its “better than anything you’ve ever heard” is ridiculous. This remix was just slid into my inbox the other day, and I almost passed it by, but after hearing (and later promoting) their last track “Self destruct” I decided to give it a shot. Bursting into the scene with several chart topping tunes (Self destruct hit number one and has maintained position on Beatport’s Glitch Hop chart for the past three weeks), Pegboard Nerds returns with another crowd pleasing tune. Full of the nerds signature lazer filled assaults mixed in with the amazing vocals from the girls, this remix of Alive definitely plays harder than the original. Krewella and the Nerd’s have generously decided to release this tune for free before the release date in December, so get it while its hot~
